Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and we want you to spend it with us! Thursday, February 14th, electronic dance duo, The Knocks are returning to Concord Music Hall for the ‘New York Narcotic’ Tour.
It’s been two years since The Knocks rolled through Concord Music Hall and now they’re back in a big way! This past September the duo released their album, ‘New York Narcotic.’ What B-Roc and JPatt call “a love letter to their city,” this 14-track album is an intricate story about the duo’s relationship with the Big Apple. From classic hip-hop, electronic dance music, to trumpets and pop music, ‘New York Narcotic’ is an album for everyone. Packed with array of different genres comes the ultimate list of artists featured, including Method Man, Big Boi, Sofi Tukker, Foster The People, Sir Sly and Alexis Krauss.
The Knocks’ “Ride Or Die” (featuring Foster the People) from the album has been taking the radio by storm since its release. With the help of Foster The People front man, Mark Foster, The Knocks recreated scenes from the classics, Pulp Fiction, White Men Can’t Jump and the Rocky series and brought this funky track to life. Check out the music video for the nostalgic yet rejuvenating ‘New York Narcotic’ track, “Ride Or Die” (featuring Foster The People) below.
On top of their newest album, B-Roc and JPatt are constantly remixing tracks. January 19th, Charli XCX and Troye Sivan dropped the remixes to their single, “1999.” As if we didn’t miss the 90s enough already, “1999” makes you miss it even more. Taking a spin on things, The Knocks take this fun dance track to the next level. Take a listen to “1999 (The Knocks Remix)”.
