Rock Legend, Myles Kennedy, Brings Solo Tour to Chicago

Best known for his roles as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for Slash’s backing band, Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators and Alter Bridge, Myles Kennedy is taking his solo work on the road. With a total of 14 studio albums, seven live albums, five extended plays and five concert films, the well-known singer-songwriter has made a huge mark on the hard rock music realm.

In March, Myles Kennedy released his debut solo album, ‘Year of the Tiger.' Though, this time around, Kennedy explored a different side of the rock genre. When streaming the 12 track record, listeners will not only here Kennedy play the guitar, but also the banjo, bass, lap steel, and mandolin. By including a wide variety of sounds and playing a series of different instruments, Kennedy created a blues-based album with a twist of country, folk and rock.

Just two and a half months after completing his sold-out summer tour in Europe, Kennedy is heading out on the road again for a 21 date US tour; his first stop being at Concord Music Hall! To give fans an idea of what to expect for his upcoming performances, on October 19th, Kennedy released the music video for his song, ‘The Great Beyond.' By presenting a compilation of footage from his shows this summer, Kennedy takes fans with him on his journey playing ‘Year of the Tiger’ for the first time.

Being a part so many projects over the years, we know Kennedy’s set is going to be incredible. If you are hoping to hear music that is new and old, you are in luck! From the setlists of his latest tour, fans can anticipate songs off of Kennedy’s newest album, ‘Year of the Tiger’, among other music from, ‘The Mayfield Four’, ‘Alter Bridge’ and ‘Slash feat.
