Pro Surfer Turned DJ, Fisher Takes Over for 2 Nights at Concord Music Hall

Former Gold Coast, Men’s Qualifying Series (MQS) pro surfer turned tech house DJ and music producer, Paul Fisher, now known for his stage name, FISHER, is bringing his beats to Concord Music Hall for not one, but two nights in November! Beginning his music career in 2012 with fellow Aussie and former pro surfer, Leigh ‘Sedz’ Sedley, the two started as the electronic Australian music duo called, Cut Snake. After years of traveling the world and performing together, FISHER chose to take a different path. Signing with the independent electronic music record label, Dirtybird Records, the DJ and music producer started his solo career.

In 2017, his debut single, ‘Ya Kidding’, was released and EDM fans went absolutely nuts; they loved it!

Four months later, FISHER released more music. His second single, ‘Oi Oi’, consists of two tracks called, ‘Stop it’ and ‘Ya Didn’t’. Following the release of another single in March of 2018, the DJ/music producer hit the festival circuit. Appearing all over the world this past year, FISHER played American music festivals, Coachella, Electric Forest and Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas all the way to Electric Daisy Carnival in Tokyo, Japan before heading to Europe for his summer tour.

In the midst of the festival season, FISHER dropped his fourth single, ‘Losing It’, in July. But, this track was not new to anyone in the EDM community. Three months prior to releasing, ‘Losing It’, the Australian house and techno music DJ/producer played the base-shaking hit at one of his two Coachella 2018 sets. A clip of the Do Lab performance was caught and the song went viral. With the help of other DJs spinning rips of the video in their sets, ‘Losing it’ received millions of views online and reached over 13,000 hits on Shazam.

One week after ‘Losing It’ dropped, Tomorrowland Music Festival 2018 in Boom, Belgium kicked off and the single was unavoidable. The addictive tech house track earned the number one spot for the Top 10 most played tracks at the festival, being played 15 times.

Start preparing for this crazy weekend with FISHER at Concord Music Hall on Saturday, November 17th and Sunday, November 18th. It is going to be awesome! Tickets are available HERE.
