The live music industry is among one of the hardest industries hit by COVID-19. This has left countless musicians, venue staff, production crews, and many others jobless as the situation continues to navigate. More than eight hundred venues have joined the National Independent Venue Association in their efforts towards securing financial support to preserve the national ecosystem of independent venues and promoters.

In an open letter to Congress, NIVA has requested specific federal support for independent venues and promoters across the country during the indefinite shut down. You can read the full letter here.
