Badfish: A Tribute To Sublime Returns to Concord Music Hall

Dedicated to playing the music of Sublime, your favorite tribute band, Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime will be returning to Concord Music Hall on Saturday, February 16th for their ‘Stand By Your Van Tour.’

The Rhode Island-based tribute band has dedicated the last 18 years of their lives to playing the music of Sublime. Naming themselves after the song, “Badfish” off of the 1992 album, ‘40z to Freedom,’ the group embodies the sense of place and purpose that has been long associated with the music of Sublime. What started off as weekend gigs while attending college, the boys of Badfish started to sell out shows. This turned into touring the East Coast and Midwest, quickly gaining popularity at college campuses across the country. They might not be the only Sublime tribute band, but unlike others, Badfish plays with the spirit and replicated essence of Sublime, making them the top tribute band to see.

Take a look at Badfish’s performing Sublime’s “What I Got,” off of their 1996 self-titled debut album, ‘Sublime’, live in St. Petersburg, Florida. Try not to sing along, we dare you.

Since forming in 2001, Badfish hasn’t stopped touring. Their exciting and strikingly spot-on concerts. Based on setlists from their last tour, fans can expect that not only will the show feature classic songs from Sublime, but also possible covers of the Grateful Dead, Bob Marley and The Wailers and more.
